1. What we collect
We collect your email address for authentication, your name and profile photo (from Google sign-in), and the transaction data you enter into Hisaab groups.
2. How we use it
Your data is used solely to provide the Hisaab service — tracking balances between you and your group members. We do not sell, share, or use your data for advertising.
3. Who can see your data
Only members of a specific Hisaab group can see that group's transactions. Your email is visible to people who add you to a group. Hisaab staff may access data for support purposes only.
4. AI processing
When you send a message to the Hisaab AI, it is processed by Anthropic's Claude API. Messages may be used by Anthropic to improve their models per their privacy policy.
5. Data retention
Your data is retained as long as your account is active. You can request deletion of your account and all associated data by contacting us at privacy@hisaab.app.
6. Security
All data is encrypted in transit and at rest. Authentication is handled by Supabase, which is SOC 2 compliant. We use Row Level Security to ensure data isolation.
